EasyRent is operated by My Realty Real Estate Group, a licensed Florida real estate brokerage. By using this site you agree to these terms.
What EasyRent is
EasyRent helps you find a rental, apply for it, and keep track of where your application has got to. We act as a real estate brokerage representing you as a prospective tenant.
We are not the landlord. We do not own, manage or control the properties listed, and we do not decide who is approved. The landlord decides, and where there is a homeowners or condo association, the association decides separately. We cannot promise you will be approved, or how long a decision will take.
Listings
Property information comes from the MLS and from listing agents. Rents, availability, fees and descriptions change without notice and can be wrong. Nothing on this site is an offer or a reservation. Confirm anything that matters to you before you rely on it — particularly rent, deposit, association fees and pet policy.
Applying
You agree that:
- Everything you tell us is true and complete, and the documents you upload are genuine
- You are applying for yourself, or for someone who has authorised you
- You are 18 or over
A false statement or a falsified document on a rental application can void the application and the lease, and may be a crime. We will withdraw an application we find to be false.
Signing
Where you type your name as a signature, or draw one with your finger, you are signing electronically, and that signature is as binding as ink under the federal E-SIGN Act and Florida’s Uniform Electronic Transaction Act. You may ask for a paper process instead — tell us and we will arrange it.
A Contract to Lease is a binding contract, not a formality. Read it before you sign it, and seek the advice of an attorney if any of it is unclear.
Fees
Application fees, association fees and deposits are set by the landlord or the association, not by us, and are usually non-refundable once submitted. We tell you the amount before you pay it wherever we know it.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. Links we email you are personal to you — anyone holding one can see what it opens, so do not forward them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit applications or enquiries you do not intend to pursue
- Scrape, copy or republish listings
- Attempt to reach another applicant’s information, or any part of the site not meant for you
- Upload anything harmful, or anything you do not have the right to share
Fair Housing
We do business in accordance with the Fair Housing Act. Our commitment, and how to report discrimination, is set out on our Fair Housing page.
Availability
We aim to keep EasyRent running and accurate, but we provide it as it is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Deadlines matter in a rental — if something here is not working, call us rather than waiting.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including a property being let to somebody else. Nothing here limits our liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited — including our duties to you as your broker under Chapter 475 of the Florida Statutes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, and the courts of Miami-Dade County.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the site means you accept the revised terms.
