We do business in accordance with the Federal Fair Housing Act and Florida law.

Everyone gets the same service

We do not refuse to rent to anyone, refuse to show a property, set different terms, or treat an application differently because of race, colour, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation or gender identity. In Miami-Dade County that protection also covers age, marital status, source of income and actual or perceived status as a victim of domestic violence.

Every applicant is screened against the same criteria, and those criteria are about whether the rent is affordable and the rental history is sound — nothing else.

If you have a disability

You have the right to ask for a reasonable accommodation — a change to a rule or policy — or a reasonable modification to the property, at any point. That includes an assistance animal in a building with a no-pets rule. An assistance animal is not a pet, and no pet fee or deposit applies to one.

Ask us. We will pass the request to the landlord and follow it up in writing. You do not need to explain your disability to make the request.

Housing choice vouchers

In Miami-Dade County, refusing an applicant because their income comes from a Section 8 voucher or another lawful source is prohibited. We will submit your application the same way as any other.

A complaint to HUD is normally filed within one year. It costs nothing, and it is unlawful for anyone to retaliate against you for making one.
